Nikos Michailidis

Co-Founder

Nikos received his PhD in Cultural Anthropology from Princeton University and is currently an Assistant Professor of Anthropology at the University of Missouri, St. Louis. His research interests are political anthropology, arts, Mediterranean studies, and culture and diplomacy. He is also a musician and performer of the Pontian lyra and has recorded and released several CDs.

Vicky Hioureas

Co-Founder

Vicky is a PhD candidate in Byzantine History at Princeton University. She has a passion for the folk traditions of Greece and southeastern Europe, and spends her spare time researching the rural sartorial customs of the Greek countryside and playing the Byzantine kanun.
