Experiential Learning

Step 1

SUBMIT APPLICATION MATERIALS BY NOVEMBER 30th

If you apply as an independent applicant, the first step is to complete our application form. Together with the application form, you must also submit your resume, statement of interest and internship preferences. You can attach these pdf documents in the application form.

There is no application fee.

We can also hold a zoom meeting during your application process to discuss questions and your objectives and interests. After your application is submitted, we will proceed with the internship matching process.

Step 2

INTERVIEW WITH INTERNSHIP SITES

Based upon your application materials, your internship interests, and the criteria of the internship sites, we will match you with organizations and companies.

The next step is to arrange for an interview with a supervisor from the internship site. In these conversations, the supervisors will get to know more about you, and you will have the opportunity to ask questions. After the interviews, Empiria staff will collect your interview feedback and the internship sites’ preferences in order to use them for the final decisions and matching. This process ends in late January/early February.

Offers will be extended where there is a match.  Upon receiving your internship match, you will have five days to confirm your internship placement. The program fee is due once you confirm that you accept the offer.
