4-Week Intensive Summer Program
in Biblical Languages

Program Description

Empiria Learning offers this unique, intensive language program designed for students seeking to study Biblical Greek, Hebrew, and/or Aramaic-Syriac in Greece.

Participants will register for up to two language courses, and upon completion, will have studied the equivalent of a semester’s worth of each language. Successful students will have a full command of grammar and syntax and ability to read texts independently.

Each language class is held for 2 hours each day, 5 days a week, with special weekly sessions dedicated to reinforcement of grammar and vocabulary; each language class totals over 45 hours of formal instruction.

The program also includes excursions to archaeological sites, churches, and cultural immersion activities: guided tours of Ancient Corinth in the footsteps of St. Paul, Mycenae, Argos, Nafplio, Byzantine churches, and a theatrical performance in the ancient theater of Epidaurus.

Location

Classes are held in Epidaurus, where students will be secluded in beautiful seaside accommodations to allow for focused learning for the duration of the program, with full access to a private beach.
